House? Gewoon Uit Je Dak! (VARA Impact, 1992) is een documentaire over de Amsterdamse house-scene van de vroege jaren ’90. Met interviews en footage van toonaangevende DJ’s, dansers en feestorganisatoren, en een kijkje achter de schermen bij parties. Ik ben te zien als danseres bij Quazar en werkend in de Wild! Shop. Herbeleef de energie, saamhorigheid en open-minded vibe van deze bijzondere periode in housemuziek.
Deze documentaire laat zien hoe housemuziek toen de mainstream bereikte en onderdeel werd van de Amsterdamse uitgaanswereld. Je krijgt een unieke kijk achter de schermen van house-feesten, in de werkplaats van DJ Dano en bij andere belangrijke spelers uit die tijd. Voor deze docu hielp ik regisseur Hans Polak door hem in contact te brengen met mensen uit de scene die ook in de documentaire te zien zijn.

Relive the energy, community spirit, and open-minded vibe of this unique era in house music.
The documentary shows how house music reached the mainstream and became an integral part of Amsterdam’s nightlife. You get a behind-the-scenes look at house parties, DJ Dano’s studio, and other key figures of the time. For this documentary, I also helped director Hans Polak by connecting him with people from the scene who appear in the film.
