Last updated: 31 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the DreTube website at dretube.nl (the “Website”), operated by Andre (the “owner”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Our handling of personal data and cookies is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What DreTube offers

DreTube is a website where you can watch videos and rate them up or down. You do not need an account to use it, and there is no login. Visitors cannot upload videos or post comments. You can contact us through the contact form.

We may change, suspend or remove any part of the Website, including videos, at any time and without notice.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Website, you agree not to:

  • break any applicable law or the rights of others;
  • try to manipulate the rating system, for example by using scripts, bots or repeated automated requests to inflate or lower ratings;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server, or any data stored on it;
  • disrupt or overload the Website, or introduce malware or other harmful code;
  • scrape, copy or systematically download videos or other content without our written permission;
  • use the contact form to send spam, abusive or unlawful messages, or advertising.

We may block access for anyone who violates these rules.

4. Content and intellectual property

The videos hosted on DreTube and the other content on the Website (text, design, logos, and so on) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. They belong to us or to their respective owners, and are used with permission or under a valid licence [adjust to your situation].

You may watch videos on the Website for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to the Website or to individual videos. You may not copy, republish, redistribute or modify the content, or use it commercially, without our prior written permission.

5. Embedded YouTube videos and third-party content

Some videos on the Website are embedded from YouTube, which is operated by Google. These videos are provided by YouTube and are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not control this third-party content and are not responsible for it, including its availability, accuracy or legality, or for any data YouTube collects when you play an embedded video.

The Website may also contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

6. Ratings

Up/down ratings reflect the opinions of anonymous visitors. They are provided for general interest only. We do not guarantee that ratings are accurate or free from manipulation, and we may remove or reset ratings at any time.

7. Reporting content

If you believe content on the Website infringes your copyright or other rights, or is unlawful, please email usteepia@gmail.com with:

  • your name and contact details;
  • the link (URL) to the content in question;
  • a description of the content and why you believe it is infringing or unlawful;
  • if it concerns copyright, a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

We will review your report and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the content.

8. Availability and disclaimer

We try to keep the Website available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that videos will always be available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, including loss of data or indirect damages. This does not limit our liability for intent or deliberate recklessness, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rules.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. By continuing to use the Website after changes are published, you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands [e.g. the court of Oost-Brabant, adjust if you prefer], without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms? Email usteepia@gmail.com or use the contact form on the Website.

Things to check before publishing

  1. Content ownership (section 4): I assumed you own the hosted videos or have permission to show them. If some come from other creators, make sure you actually have the right to host them, and adjust the wording.
  2. Court (section 11): I put a placeholder. Keep a general “competent court in the Netherlands” or name a specific district.
  3. Business details: If DreTube is run as a business (not purely as a hobby), Dutch law generally requires business details such as company name, address and KvK number on the site (often in an “Imprint” or “About” page). Add them if that applies.
  4. Links: Add links to the Privacy Policy and to this page in your footer, and consider linking them from the cookie banner.
  5. Cross-check: Since both documents mention the contact address and cookie banner, update both if anything changes.
